Worship Ministry

"Worship is one of the vital activities of faith. We are encouraged to always worship God individually and as a community. We gather for worship at regular times during the week so we may be able to hear God speak to us and nourish us, and also to bring to God our concerns and words of thanks and praise. In our regular worship the central focus is on the Word and the Sacraments. We hear God’s word through the written and spoken word, and we are reborn and renewed through the celebration of Baptism and Holy Communion.

A typical service has Scripture readings, a sermon, prayers, songs of praise and the opportunity to share the peace and to share our gifts. The celebration of the Lord’s Supper usually occurs every other service.
