Welcome to the youth section!
Troy Miller: I grew up in the small town of Pinawa, MB. I was baptized, confirmed and a member at Pinawa Lutheran Church. As a youth I attended many youth synod retreats and had the privilege of attending three CLYG as a youth (The Edge in Regina, 2000, Cry Out in Vancouver, 2002, Listen Up in Hamilton, 2004 and Full Serve in Winnipeg, 2006 as a leader and Hands On in London, 2010 as a leader). I’m currently enrolled at the University of Manitoba in the Clayton H. Ridell School of Earth, Environment and Resource, majoring in geologic sciences. My free time is spent playing ball and/or ice hockey, indoor and/or outdoor soccer, and ultimate. One of my passions is music and I love to play guitar. I’m a member of MNO’s very own Prairie Fire. Some other more seasonal activities I enjoy are canoeing and kayaking. Some random facts about myself are: my favourite colour is blue, I’m a sucker for a sunny day spent on the water, my favourite book is Little Beaver and the Echo and one of my favourite places in the world is the “Summit” at Luther Village at sunset.
